Guided tour of Vieu-en-Valromey

Florence, a conference guide, will take you back in time to discover Vieu, an important Gallo-Roman vicus until the 4th century, a medieval village of which a remarkable church remains, a holiday resort for Brillat-Savarin...
This small village contains many architectural treasures.

The tour starts from the hamlet of Chongnes, and follows in the footsteps of Paul Claudel near the spring and the chapel of L'Adoue, before reaching the centre of the village, the underground aqueduct (mentioned), the church and Brillat-Savarin's manor house.

Beware, walking shoes are necessary, as part of the visit takes place on stony paths.
