Visit for groups - Viviers, a sleeping beauty

A promenade from the lowest part of the town up to the Saint Vincent Cathedral turns into a long journey
in the past.
Along its well preserved narrow streets, the invisible becomes visible : from the Antique to the Middle-age, passing through the Renaissance (house of the Knights facade) and until the 18th century (private mansions, ancient bishop’s palace and its Italien private room covered of frescos…).

Duration : 2 hours

Attention : most of the city streets are paved and from the Place de La République in a gentle slope (total altitude : 40 meters), the visit is not with disabled access and it is not recommended to gentle walkers.
Make sure you have comfortable shoes.

Possible extension : the ascencion to the Joannade Virgin offers a fabulous view over the historical city of Viviers and the Rhone Valley.
