S.N.O.W: Nordic Skiing Opening Winter in Bessans
At Bessans, from Indian summer to winter in just a few days! Bessans is set to be the first resort in France to open its ski area in November (excluding the glacier).
To mark the occasion, Bessans is offering its new S.N.O.W. (Ski Nordic Opening Winter) event: a weekend of first snow to celebrate the resumption of cross-country skiing and Nordic activities. Bessans is able to open its doors early thanks to the snowfarming technique and its unique environment (a plateau at 1700m surrounded by glaciers and peaks over 3000m, offering cool temperatures from autumn onwards).
The opening of the cross-country skiing season is eagerly awaited by professional teams and amateur skiers alike. This year, not only will they be able to take advantage of the 'snowfarming' track, but they will also be able to enjoy a range of events and activities during S.N.O.W.
