La 6D Marathon

Individual challenge, accessible to all
If you're familiar with the Marathon on the flat and on tarmac, come and discover it on the trails and in the mountains. On the program: 43km and a positive altitude difference of 2100m. The route takes runners from the village of Aime in the valley to the Lac des Blanchets at 2363m, passing through the high-altitude resorts of Grande Plagne before descending through the forest at Montchavin les Côches and finishing along the Isère. This new route will update the original route of the Grande 6000D, with the 1st ascent following the 1st route laid out in 1990. A high-flying, signposted route, 95% on paths and tracks.

The 6000D atmosphere
For the 34th year, a large and enthusiastic public will be cheering you on all along the 6000D route, on Saturday July 27, 2024.

To keep as close as possible to the spirit of the Trail, there are only 3 refreshment points (food and drinks) and 1 water point (drinks only) on the 43 km. A camel bag or water bottle holder is highly recommended.
Self-sufficiency is recommended.
