Exhibition "Frissons. Alpine landscapes and scenes" exhibition

A unique collection of paintings, prints, photographs and posters depicting the Alps, both familiar and more distant mountains. Some of the greatest names in mountain landscape painting are here to show us the mountains and their representations over the course of the seasons.
Works by Wibault, Abrate and Poignant, most of whom belonged to the Société des peintres de montagne, join the splendid prints by Bouillette, the "poet of landscapes", and Samivel, the "lover of nature".

This inaugural exhibition invites visitors to discover part of this new collection and to plunge into Alpine landscapes through representations dating from the 19th to the end of the 20th century.
