Sculpture "Hommage à Jean Moulin" de Toros

The only one in stainless steel, it is part of a series with even more abstract, contemporary forms. The material, with its cooler tones, brings us face to face with the subject in a more distanced way. It's a tribute to a great historical figure who sacrificed himself for France, committing himself to the cause of freedom. This is a powerful symbol for a child from a family marked by genocide and the question of survival. This statue represents the flame of the Resistance, which rises from the ground, never to be extinguished. Its base, also created by the artist, is surmounted by a quotation from André Malraux, taken from a speech he gave at the Panthéon in 1964.
