Children's alpine ski lessons

Group lessons take place from Sunday to Friday, with an end-of-course test on Friday.

The different levels of children's group lessons:

- The Ourson (between 5 and 12 years old):
I know how to recognize my ski equipment.
I put on and take off my skis alone.
I use my first ski lifts.
I control my speed and I make turns reproducing the movement of the snake.
I do different types of trips on skis on varied but almost flat terrain.
I slide parallel skis facing the slope and I stop by a snowplow turn.

- The Snowflake:
I got the Ourson.
I control my speed and cross the fall line in a snowplow turn.
I stay balanced by sliding faster with my skis parallel, crossing and facing the slope, on both skis or from one ski to the other, on smooth, gently sloping ground.
I can brake and stop and I start to skid.

- 1st star:
I got the Snowflake.
I chain elementary skidded turns taking into account the external elements (profile of the terrain, other users, quality of the snow, etc.).
I'm balanced sliding across low to medium slopes.
I discover skids (rounded, oblique).

- 2nd star:
I got the 1st star.
I chain refined elementary turns, I cross the slope line with parallel skis and I conduct my turns in a rounded skid taking into account the external elements (profile of the terrain, other users, quality of the snow, etc.).
I cross passages of hollows and bumps, crossing or facing the slope, while remaining balanced.

- 3rd star:
I got the 2nd star.
I can chain basic parallel ski turns, with short and medium radii, taking into account and adapting to external elements (terrain, users, type of snow, etc.).
I master my balance in schuss in varied terrain (hollows and bumps).
I improve my lateral balance by using successions of skids interspersed with direct traces in crossings (scallops).

- Bronze Star | Star team:
I refine my basic turns by reducing sideslip.
I evolve in sculls or in large turns taking into account and adapting to the external elements (terrain, users, type of snow...).
I master my balance in schuss by taking off on rounded bumps, on piste or in landscaped terrain such as skier cross.
I am learning to ski in all types of snow.

- Silver Star | star team
I discover the practice of alpine skiing in all its forms.
I can ski without stopping on steep slopes, on any type of snow, taking into account the external elements and respecting the skier's rules of conduct.
I can evolve in a landscaped terrain: ski cross, half pipe...

- Gold Star | star team
I discover the practice of alpine skiing in all its forms.
I can ski without stopping on steep slopes, on any type of snow, taking into account the external elements and respecting the skier's rules of conduct.
I can evolve in a landscaped terrain: ski cross, half pipe...

- Advanced course
I got the Gold Star.
I am preparing for the first arrow, chamois and record tests, appearing in the National SKI OPEN ranking and maybe taking part in the Ski d'Or at the end of the season. I continue my learning to ski in all types of snow, on all terrains and in complete independence.
