Town Hall of Avrieux

Avrieux is located in the upper part of the Arc valley at about 1150m above sea level.

Agriculture has forged over the centuries the landscapes of this vast municipality which is also the support of the resort of La Norma with Villarodin-Bourget.

Avrieux associates past and future by counting on its territory several advantages:

- the National Aerospace Studies and Research Office (ONERA) using hydraulic energy brought from the Aussois dams by penstock and four hydroelectric power stations,

- a rich historical heritage made up of baroque churches and chapels, fortifications, and other curiosities.
