The Bossons glacier chair lift

The Glacier des Bossons chalet is a 5-minute walk from the chairlift arrival point. From its terrace, the view of the terminal tongue of the glacier and the seracs of the Plateau des Pyramides is fabulous.

An exhibition in the form of a thematic trail tells the fascinating story of the glacier. Each panel along the trail presents a particular theme: the life of the glacier, the Little Ice Age, the evolution of the glacier...

The chalet is the starting point for a hike to the Chalet des Pyramides, overlooking the glacier waterfall, seracs and ice pyramids.

From here, the famous Jonction hike takes you to the gateway to the high mountains, at 2589m. La Jonction, the last rocky spur before the kingdom of ice. Magnificent views of the Bossons and Taconnaz glaciers. This route was used by J. Balmat and Dr. Paccard on their first ascent of Mont Blanc in 1786.

Eating out: the Glacier des Bossons and Pyramides chalets offer typical cuisine in a unique setting.
