Le Tour des Belvédères
Departure from the Nordic Relay
1. From the cemetery, follow the road towards La Pesse on 300 m and climb the path to the left.
2. In front of the house, cross the road and go up the path in front in the forest.
3. Turn right the path that joins a forest track and follow it for 200 m.
4. Fit the left and follow the cross-country ski tracks until the "5 The Chalets" (view of the southern part of the Jura). Down the left meadow, enter the grove of beech and take the left turn that leads to the ruins of a house.
5. Moving towards the east and follow the right path through forest and meadow, down a descent will take you on a dirt road.
6. Follow the road to the left for 250 m and then right up a path that leads to a place called the Purchasing (view of the high chain of the Jura, the crêt Chalam, circus Avalanche).
7. 300 meters after the point of view taken frankly right amount a trail enters the forest and leading to the forest track.
8. Leave the track and take the path on the right which leads to Auger, access Avalanche circus gazebo by the forest track to the right (south for 350 m).
9. To the left of the 2nd house, move north into the valley and follow the ATV markup.
10. We arrive before the Cottin cottage (shelter). Continue north up the road.
11. Take the D48a road left and follow for about 800 m (from this point we follow the GR markup red yellow).
12. Take the forest track right and pass a barrier. At the next intersection, turn left uphill (nice view of the cliff of Roche Fauconnière).
13. Commit to the right and continue on the path. 2 through clearings and continue to the lookout.
14. Views on the circus Orvaz, interpretation panels (geology). Continuing, the trail joins the forest road that descends 600 m
15. Just before the edge of the forest, take the left forest road that leads to the cross. Get off the road to the house and take the right route used to go.
