La 6000D en relais à 3

A total course of 69km to be RUN BY 3.
The route takes runners from the village of Aime in the valley to the summit of Live 3000 at an altitude of 3050m, passing through the high altitude resorts of Grande Plagne before descending through the forest at Montchavin les Coches and finishing along the Isère. A high-flying, signposted route, 95% on paths and tracks.

The 6000D atmosphere
For this 33rd year, a large and enthusiastic public will be cheering you on all along the 6000D course, on SATURDAY 29 JULY 2023 for the 6000D, the 6000D 3-man relay (new) and on FRIDAY 28 JULY 2023 for the 6D Lakes.
Access to the Roche de Mio / Col de la Chiaupe / Live 3000 cable car will be open this summer to encourage the runners at a preferential rate.

To keep as close as possible to the spirit of the Trail, there are only 5 refreshment points (food and drink) and 3 water points (drinks only) over the 69 km. A camel bag or water bottle holder is strongly recommended.
Self-sufficiency is recommended.

1st Section Aime / Plagne Centre: 20.9km - 1560m (D+) - 255m (D-) - 1 time barrier at Plagne Centre at 10.00am
2nd Section Plagne Centre / Plagne Bellecôte: 27.3km - 1730m (D+) - 1790m (D-) - 2 time barriers at Col de la Chiaupe (return) at 13:15 and at Plagne Bellecôte at 15:00
3rd Section Plagne Bellecôte / Aime: 20.5km - 190m (D+) - 1435m (D-) - 1 time barrier at Montchavin at 16h30
- Limited to 250 teams
- Price: from €80 to €100 depending on date
- Online registration closes: Sunday 21 July 2024 if the team limit is not reached.
- Medical certificate or licence required on registration
- The age limit for running the 6000D 3-man relay is 20 years (in 2004) for section 2 and 18 years (in 2006) for sections 1 and 3.
-Compulsory equipment that will be checked at the start and during the race: Headlamp (1st relay runner going up to Plagne Centre), mobile phone, reusable cup or flask, a zipped bag to put your food in at the refreshment posts, crampons (to put over your shoes for relay runner N°2 going up to the glacier), a whistle, 500ml of water, a survival blanket and a waterproof and breathable long-sleeved jacket (Be careful it can get very cold at altitude) and your 4 safety pins or other hooks for the number.
- Highly recommended: gloves, goggles, cap or similar, water and food.
- Race numbers will be distributed in Aime (salle des fêtes) on Thursday 27 July from 2pm to 7pm and on Friday 28 July 2023 from 10am to 7pm and on the morning of the race from 3.30am. Please note that an identity card is required to collect your race number.
- A cloakroom will be available 50m from the start in the Salle Cerrutti in Aime.
