Visite guidée : il était une fois Val d'Isère en été

To get the full picture of the destiny of Val d’Isère, we recommend you take a guided walk around the village streets. Perched at an elevation of 1,850 metres, this village found itself void of inhabitants for a long time, due to the harsh winters and the severity of rural life. It wasn’t until the 1930s with the growth of mountain tourism and the building of the Iseran mountain pass road that the village of Val d’Isère became the ski resort that we know today. A unique history that you can also unveil at the “Val d’Histoire” museum.
