Fête de la Véraison, 37ème édition
The Fête de la Véraison transforms the old village of Châteauneuf du Pape into a true medieval city and transports visitors back to the old days.
Noble knights and ladies, minstrels and jugglers, merchants and tavern owners invade the streets for three days of festivities and shows: historical re-enactments, encampments, parades, daily life sketches. In the tradition of the fairs of yesteryear, the great Medieval Market presents more than a hundred stalls.
Visitors will be able to taste the wines of the appellation in the cellars (from 10am to 7pm) and then at the mule barrel or at the fountain from 7pm.
Sunday, August 06 at 9:30 pm: Great fire show with the Imaziren Company.
