Sculpture: Matérialité du Vide

Fascinated by the symbolism of emptiness, this artist sculpted giant granite monoliths as a symbol of the earth. He emphasizes the verticality of the earth by scratches or concise bands finely fluted. He then breaks the continuity by scooping out, thereby binding the material into nothingness, the end to the infinite. Considered a citizen of the world through his origins and travels, Romy (1951) lives and works in Geneva.
