Castle of Fléchères

The Château de Fléchères is a beautifully preserved piece of 17th century architecture. The château houses a selection of magnificent frescos by the Italian artist Pietro Ricchi that date from 1632. A visit to the château also allows you to admire the great carved fireplaces, the grand open staircase, a Louis XV panelled apartment with period furnishings and the early 17th century kitchens that are still in working order. Outside the château is surrounded by 40 hectares of lush green parkland which include the English gardens, fountains and a lake. The Château de Fléchères is open every day during July and August and there are guided tours of the château available that take about 1 hour to complete.
